![]() Third time through, was on Bloodmoon difficulty and after a few false starts, I managed to beat it successfully. Managed to get the 300 kill achievement in Endless before finishing the playthrough. Also backed up before the final boss as I already beat it on my previous playthrough and wanted to see if I could win the fight with only 2 heroes. ![]() I admit that I cheated by backing up my save before the fight with the countess because I didn't feel like leveling up a character to 6 if it went badly. I did beat the fanatic a couple of times but also lost some heroes to him. Second time through, I enabled all DLC and just avoided reading the DLC enemy strategies until I encountered them. The first time I got a jester was pretty much a revelation in that it taught me that I didn't even need the bar or abbey for the most part. That is, I looked up general strategies but didn't read about any boss/creature encounters till I had seen them at least once. I played it on/off over a few months planning to master the game enough that I'd be satisfied.įirst time through was on Darkest, no DLC and mostly blind. ![]() So I picked up Darkest Dungeon as I was itching for something difficult and turned based.
